i am heading to cherry grove the end of this month. are there any fish to be caught in the inlet back behind the beach where the 53rd street ramp is? also what kind of baits and rigs should i use. also techniques? im not familiar with inshore fishing. i mostly fish offshore. any tips are appreciated. i would like to catch some trout and spot tails and fl;ounder

There's fish to be caught there... I don't fish in there a lot. Seems it's kind of a small area, so 15 or so boats in there could be crowded... depending on your tolerance level. I think you can get from Cherry grove to Dunn sound and the Little River Inlet area through one of those creeks... but again, not sure and may be strictly flood tide thing. Seems there flounder there... I'm sure there is some drum. Good luck!

well i know there are bull sharks there. saw a video of there a couple of days ago.
