Hey guys, I am a student at Coastal Carolina University as well as a member of Coastal Saltwater Anglers. This is a student based club that is compltely addicted to saltwater fishing. We hold a fishing seminar on campus as a fundraiser for the club and this year I am making sure it happens.

Date: March 3rd 2012
Time: Doors open to public at 9:30
Seminar begins at 10
Price: General Public-$15, Local Fishing Club Members/CCU Students-$10
Prizes-Inshore rod and reel combo, 75 qt yeti cooler, inshore tacle, offshore tackle

Seminar topics cover include:

Nearshore fishing blues,spanish, spades
Vertical jigging/Bottom Fishing
Flounder Fishing
Redfish
Trolling wahoo, mahi, tuna, billfish
Kingfishing

A change this year will be that your ticket price will include a lunch. Hot dog, drink, and bag of chips.

More information will be coming out this week but this year the seminar will happen.

Just wanted to say that the CCU fishing seminar was a class-act and was enjoyed by all who attended. The videos and the speakers were top notch. Thanx to the Coastal Saltwater Anglers club at CCU for all they did.

I was, however, very dissappointed that the seminar was not supported by several of the fishing clubs in our area. This is a young club of college age students that needs our support. Our area needs more like them.

I hate I just saw this. I have been looking for just this kind of meeting. Any kind of mailing list for future events? Sign me up if there is. I have considered the NC State fishing school but it's a bit pricey and the better part of a week.
