Capt. Dave,

The last few times I have used the Supermap, it has loaded fine, but when I try to use the tabs; Details, weather, etc nothing happens.

Does the map work better/faster in foxfire than IE7?

Thanks,
Jim

I know I am not dave but for me Firefox works 100 times better. It doesn't hang when requesting information like ie does.

Found the problem...I use Roadrunner Cable, and have been using their free security programs from Computer Associates for years (free is good and it works pretty well).

In the past never a problem, just updated, and the new firewall will allow opening of SM, but no interaction. Have to turn off firewall for everything to work.

Sooo....Don't send no bad stuff....please (used to be an english major)

Chaos,

Now using SM in Foxfire, You are right, it is so much better. all the features work as I think Dave envisioned. IE is cumbersome. See; I was an English Major!

Thanks for the tip.

Now...how the heck do you use this thing to catch fish??????

Make an educated guess with the info. lol Look for water temps and chlorophyl (i wasn't an english major) and if you get access to the seaview the water currents. Hopefully it won't be much longer for dave to post the video training seminar for the supermap. I know he is busy right now with the season though.

Yes I aware of this. There is an addon to FF3 called Windows Tabs that you will have to install to make FF3 work.

FF is also aware of this. I forsee them correcting this in the near future. It broke alot of sites across the internet.

I would install FF2.....

FF3 is brand new stuff.....

At this point, there's nothing I can do about that. Firefox 3 doesn't even have their own JavaScript debugger working yet. At this point, the
only recommendation I can make is "don't use software that was released
yesterday" and there's nothing I can do to fix it until FF ets their own
act together in a few weeks.
