i've heard folks have luck at the sherman which is only about 6 miles from little river inlet so i don't think you have to be that far out. i think any of the near-shore ARs or hard bottom will work. i know folks use the jelly balls to attract them, but i don't target them so am not sure how all that works.

Scoop you up a mess of jellyballs, thread them on a length of twine about two foot long. Tie a weight to one end an drop her down to the reef. Slowly pull up, with it comes the spades. Tie off to the cleat behind the boat a few feet. Drop a chunk of jellyball or small chunk of shrimp back to the waiting spades. Use a small hook with asplit shot on her so she doesnt sink to fast and hold on. Lots of fun on light tackle and great to eat.
