OK, call me what you will, but i'm not familiar with the fishing regs in the area. Can anyone explain in plain english what is in season and the catch limit for mostly bottom fish like grouper, BSB, vermillion snapper and red snappers.... I tried to read thru the regulations, but don't have much experience on the water there and they just didn't make sense to me.
All of my fishing will be done before May 1st.
Thanks,

Mo

I will tell you what I know. You can not keep a grouper until May 1. BSB if they are 12 inch they go in the box and you can keep 15 per person per day. I know that you can now keep vermillion snapper when they are 12 inches and you can keep 5 per person per day. Not really sure about the other species of snapper. Hope this helps somewhat.

I am sure someone will enlighten the us about the rest.
